Vitamin of the sun
Walking Skip with camera in my hand 3/17/10
Vitamin of the sun (the vitamin D which is produced inside the human body when it's exposed to a B wave of the ultraviolet rays) "promotes absorption of the calcium in the small intestines". So, I went for a walk with Skip when the sun was a little high. I walked slowly with camera in my hand.
First, I took a picture of a sign. Watch out if height of your car is more than 6 feet. The tree is a priority here. Animals and plants grow fast in Hawaii, because it is a paradise for them, it's like heaven for people. Trees are being trimmed occasionally but you still need to watch out.
This bird is often seen in the church next door. There is another one that has a deep red color on it's throat, but I didn't see it today. Maybe they are territorial depending on the time. This yellow beak gives you the impression of paradise.
A lizard is basking in the sun. Maybe it's building up the heat in the body. This bush seems to be the nest of lizards, and they are always sunbathing in line.
Kids passing by are looking at me with wondering faces, what are you taking the picture of? while I held my camera seriously at a roadside. Skip also had an expression on her face "What are you doing?" while waiting for me so she can keep walking.
I'm sorry... I was taking a picture of a lizard (^_^;
Finally it's a photo of Skip...

This is before our walk.
Her eyes are asking for it.

This is after walk.
She is exhausted.
