Cactus
Let's Walk 2009.3.18
I walked home from the beach. The distance takes me about 20 minutes. Working out my weak legs and a little rediscovery of the town are my objectives.
Then there it was...
A cactus blooming flowers.
It was blooming very strange. It looked like a small mini cactus growing from the cactus itself and flowers growing from the tips. Huh, interesting.
I looked around on the web and it seems other cactus are more graceful looking. Wondering if it's because Hawaii is South Pacific?
There are a lot of other rediscoveries.
Fish living in a canal.
The wholesale bird food store in the neighborhood by my house!
If you don't press the button to cross the road, the light will never turn green.
I stop by Seven-Eleven on the way for a short while. There were instant cup Chinese flavor fried noodles, three different flavors. There was original, shrimp and beef. If you come to Hawaii, please try it. It was pretty good.
There is a small area surrounded by a wall at the next apartment complex and I didn't know what it was from the outside. Surprisingly, it was a pool.
A local man strolling with his dog passes me. The design of the polo type shirt he was wearing was really cool. Wonder what brand it is and where he got it from?
Occasionally walking through places you're already familiar with can be good.
