SUNSET
South's season 2009.5.4
A guy I worked together with on FF7 started a company in Honolulu and is now making virtual worlds. We get together and talk about each other's work, having these small talks once or twice a month while eating over barbecue.
We casually cover easy going topics of work in Hawaii, paying attention to making immediate profits in the Japanese market such as (?), all while drinking alcohol, selfishly talking nonstop. We are of the same age (Year of the Tiger, "Sagittarius." People of the same year and zodiac sign like us seem once they leave, they never return. (^^;).
Our conversation becomes heated, but are agreeing to things well into the nigh, often passes midnight. Anyway, I guess we get together for a change of pace. By the way, the "yakiniku"(barbecue) restaurant in Waikiki, Yakiniku Hiroshi, is very good. If you ever come to Hawaii, by all means, stop by the restaurant.
The photo is of Waikiki Beach where I stopped by, making me a bit late in getting to Yakiniku Hiroshi by 7 pm. There's been a continuation of good waves here recently. It's the so-called, "season in South Beach." I was thinking of taking a good sunset photo...but as you can see, a crowd suddenly appeared. The view is like the opening of "4400." Everyone is looking at the same point...the sunset was worth watching. Really beautiful.
The sunset's location was pretty far north, intersecting with the tip of the island, and I ended up missing the green flash(a green light which can sometimes be seen at the final moments of sunset). If you can see the flash, I heard that the making a wish at that moment will make it come true.
