First Color
The Challenge 2009.7.9
I bought red sneakers. It’s leather and a slightly elegant color, but actually quite flashy. This is my first pair of red shoes. I’ve never worn shoes like this. I think this is what they call, “impulsive shopping.” I’m telling myself , “These shoes look good on me. It must….” I forced myself to wear them since I paid for it. I’m wondering if I keep wearing them, would it eventually match me? Or will I be the one who will get used to the color? This is probably the way people end up aging and flashy.
Starting this and the following year, things will be very challenging. Determination is probably influencing my color choices…though it feels like I'm making a lot of excuses. I put on my red shoes, forging ahead while filled with an adventurous spirit.
