The Morning Glow

Skip is waiting ...
I went up to the roof top before my morning walk with Skip. ( I usually take an elevator from the roof top to the 1st floor parking exit.) It looked like it was going to be a beautiful morning glow. I stayed there with my camera in my hand for a 5 minute show. Meanwhile Skip was fed up and went back to bed.
I couldn't see the morning glow in the east sky. The lower cloud didn't reflect the sunrise and just changed colors from purple to white. Venus was so bright.

When I turned around, I saw the beautiful morning glow in the west sky. I guess the position of the cloud was pertinent.
The color of the morning glow is different from that of the sunset. The sunset is an orange color which reminds me of "blood" and pierces my heart. On the other hand, the color of the morning glow is a pale pink which makes me feel tender. Both are the reflections of the sun near the horizon but why it's so different?
Oops.
I felt someone behind me and turned around. Skip was looking at me.
"OK, we are leaving for a walk now."
