Lego Robot
Using Mac after a long time 2009.11.30
These are Lego robots. I somehow put them together when I was playing with
the left over pieces. When I talk about Legos, I have also been talking
about the new project so I guess I will. Yes, I'd say it's going well. But,
RPG takes time to complete, so the actual battle in production starts from
now. We still need the adjustments for the small direction and each battle
scene...We still have much more things left to do.
In the mean time, I change my main PC environment to Mac after few years.
The trigger was Windows7. It was so difficult to use and I wasn't familiar
with it at all, so I say why not switch to Mac. Well, I had been a fan of
Macintosh since "Apple" became the cause of why I am in the game industry
now. I was away from Mac for a while because of the tools which I used for
work related couldn't be used on Mac. But I have returned to Mac after a
very long time.
UI arrangement and the "Osaka font" still exists, these bring back the
memories. It used to be "EGBrdge" or third parｔy application and not
"Kotoeri" for language tool. The mini applications called "kanji TALK",
"DA" and also had "Hypercard" and such. A lot of ideas are filled in every
application Mac has. It was a same feeling as I opened an album after a
long time. And I was also surprised that Mac is unexpectedly stable(^^;
Before, machine would crash for sure if used for 2 to 3 hours straight.
But, it was really wonderful when I test edited the movies. I pushed it
pretty hard but still it was fast and very smooth. I could play with heavy
files with high resolution.
Humm? Mac is evolving isn't it.
