A Strange Hobby 2008.9.1
Well, I have a strange hobby. Lego blocks. When I have writer’s block, I assemble Legos. It requires a surprising amount of concentration and is a great change of pace. I use the Legos as they are, but also assemble the small parts as well as coordinate the colors. I can spend an hour sorting out the proportions and details, trying to make it like this, trying to make it like that. Lately, I’ve been enjoying creating the small things. I build them using minimal parts, making sure the bumpy parts of the pieces don’t show.
Now that I think about it, I loved playing with blocks when I was a kid. Eventually, even though you grow up into an adult, you still get pulled into it. Heh.(^^;
(Whoa, I didn’t update. No good, no good. So, it may be trivial things, but I plan to write updates more often.)
